What Are the Symptoms of Arthritis?

You have started having some joint pains, maybe some redness, is this arthritis?  What are the symptoms of arthritis and how will I know if I have arthritis?

The basic symptoms of arthritis include join pain and limited function of joints. A patient with arthritis may also have inflammation of the joints.

Arthritis is characterized by joint stiffness, redness, swelling, and warmth. The inflamed joint may have tenderness.

Will the arthritis symptoms affect any organs of the body that don't directly involve the joints? Yes, since many of the forms of arthritis are rheumatic diseases.  Thus there may be fever, gland swelling, fatigue, weight loss, or not feeling well.  There may even be symptoms from abnormalities of other organs such as the heart, lungs, or kidneys.

If you are having joint pain, joint redness, or stiffness of joints then see a profession physician to get help.
